Hello, friends. I've posted this question on the NuWa forum but decided to post it here also since it may benefit others. I've tried removing my porch light lens cover in order to replace the bulb but it refuses to budge. I've grabbed it every which way and even tried a large flat-bladed screwdriver at the bottom. I've squeezed the lens to the point where I'm afraid I'll break it. I didn't have difficulty with the covers inside my unit but this one is extra hard. Any ideas? Thanks...

If you look closely there are some tabs on the left and right bottom of the lens close to each side that fit into the fixture so you need to push up on the cover from the bottom at those points and the cover will pop out.

Just like mine. I have a 2002 four winds motorhome and the porch lite needed to be changed. I tryed everthing and finally took the motorhome to Albany RV. There the tech used a wide (about 3/4 inch) blade and worked the lens from the bottom, it did popped off but I sure thought it would break. Turned out he did not have a bulb so he reinstall the lens. By the way no charge. I got a new bulb and took the lens off as he did, it sure feels like it going to break. Changed the bulb and had just as hard a time putting the lens back. Needs some force to get it back in place. The bad news I did break the lens going back in, the good news mediun visosity cyananoacralate glue (crazy glue) repaired it good as new. I reinstaled the lens and all is well.
Poor design for a light lens is an understatment.

Mine has two tabs on top and one in the center on the bottom. I squeezed the bottom of the lens in the middle and lifted it out, bottom first.

If you look closely at the photo above, you can see the two tabs on the bottom. Press up on that area carefully.

you sure will break the lens if you use a screw driver. it works best to just squeeze the lenses with your hand and pull it out of the holder.

I had just the opposite issue with my porch light. Couldn't keep the lens in. Lost serveral. Wound up replacing the fixture. In my spare time it took abut a week. You wouldn't believe where the wiring was at!

Thanks for the replies, friends. I kinda figured the way to do it was to press in at the bottom (where the tabs are) but it seemed so difficult to do, as some of you also noted. I thought the thing would break first. I won't try the screwdriver method any more, either. Guess I was just frustrated and willing to try anything. At least the porch light isn't too important for me so it's not a priority. Still want to get it done, though....
