We have had GS, Allstate, AAA, and Coach-Net. When I called GS on Christmas Day I got a recording telling me to call the local police if I was in danger and call back the next day for service. Allstate came to my house to change a tire and all I heard was how little they paid the driver and how tips were how they made out. I read about AAA here and made the switch to Coach-Net. I needed a tow one time and it was prompt and professional and right to the service who fixed me up quickly. Coach-Net is the only one for me.

We have Progressive along with their road service. Have had to use them three times with our previous coach. Very good experience each time in that they were very courteous and prompt. The estimated arrival times for the service trucks were always within a few minutes. They always kept in contact with us to make sure we were allright and that everything went OK. Personally I hope we don't need to use them again but it's a good piece of mind just knowing they're available.

I have AAA and found it to be great. We had a flat tire out in the middle of nowhere, Texas. Called and about 40 minutes latter here came the truck and the tire was changed and the driver then followed us to our destination (about 50 miles) and called ahead to several tire stores and got us setup with a new tire. The price for the Goodyear was less than what my local store wanted so I bought a set of 4. The service from AAA was outstanding.

To things:

1) to bo caballero, if you have CoachNet you do not need AAA. Your other vehicles are automatically covered by CoachNet.

2) have used CoachNet 3 times -- once for coach and twice for individual vehicles. They were excellent. They are set up only with service facilities that know how to handle motorhomes, whereas the others are not.

I highly recommend CoachNet and my DW will not be without it.

Stick another vote for Coach-Net. I think Good Sam is probably good also from the posts in this forum. Very few positives about AAA for an RV I've seen or heard.

When researching AAA Plus/RV (Georgia) I was told they would not change a tire on a Class A motor home. They would only tow it someplace to have the tire changed.

I'm not real keen on having our motor home towed, last tow a leveling jack had to be replaced. BTW that tow was through Good Sams.

We now have CoachNet.
