I am considering adding a tire pressure monitoring system to the coach and stumbled upon the Hawkshead Pressure Track HD. Is anyone out there using Hawkshead ? How well does it work ? Are you satisfied ?
It appears to be slightly less costly than either the Doran or TST systems.
Here's a link.

I like mine. Just completed a trip from Saskatchewan to Boston and back and they worked great.

Hi, Last summer I purchased that system and it did not work for me.
I got the one that you don't need to replace the batteries the upgraded
model. I need that because were I live it gets very cold and the system
that you can replace the batteries will not work under these conditions
We plan on leaving in February and it's cold here. I liked the system very well
but it would not pick up the toad and the back tires of my Motorhome I installed the extra receiver and it still would not work. I was told that this is very unusual this system works on large trucks. I did everything
to get it to work with no luck. I sent the system back and got my money back with no problem A very good Company to work with. He was going to send me a
new unit but by this time I was fed up and purchased the Pressure pro and it works great. They were sure the unit was bad and were willing to replace it.
Hope this helps.

So far, with two months of traveling, ours has worked just fine. I bought this one because it reports temperature too. Now, there is an arguement some present on the accuracy of the temp readings that claim the small valve stem sensor cannot give true temp readings. This may be true, but a reference point is a good thing too

One thing that is attractive to me for the Hawkshead is the 10 gram (1/3 oz) sensor weight. On my jeep, my existing 3/4 oz sensors cause a slight imbalance at speeds over 60 mph. Not that big of deal but if I'm going to drive the jeep any significant distance at speed I take the sensors off. It would be nice to just leave them on.

I thought about having the wheels balanced with the sensors on. In fact, I had my tire installer check to see how much out of balance they would be. Guess what, the machine said it was 3/4 oz out. I thought maybe it would be less on the machine since the sensor is inside the diameter of the wheel but it didn't seem to make any difference.
I have factory tire pressure sensors on my jeep. I figured I didn't need both when I was driving the jeep so I opted to balance without the sensors.
