Just wondering on average, how much does it cost to replace the slide seal? On average.

The slide seal is sold by the foot and there are different types so, different prices. It is not a very difficult job to do yourself. We ordered the correct type from the mfg of our Excel. My wife replaced the seal on our living room slide a couple of years ago. If you have it done at a dealer it will certainly cost less as my wife doesn't work cheap.

$3 - $5 foot plus $85 - $120/hr labor. A 16' slide about 2 hrs.

We had a leaking seal on bedroom slide, A dealer in Fla. told me to spray it with Slide seal Lub. I did so and leak was stoped They also told me seals should be sprayed at least once a year, in all my years of RVing no one has ever mentioned lubing slide seals. BUT it dose work and I do it every six months now.

we lube the seals about 4 times per year w/303 -- we spend a lot of time in the desert so things get dried out quite a bit
