With no tow, I can get 22 mpg in my Pathfinder under perfect conditions. Towing a little trailer with a headwind, 10 mpg. Most of the time, 12 to 13 mpg. This is the price of fun.

So far, mine's been around 10mpg when towing. It's a 4x4

Same as every one else 9-10 hauling @ 60 mph with no other factors ie: incline/wind. 20 not hauling.

Just curious. I read all these post and am wondering how many are 4 wheel drive and how many are 2 wheel drive. That extra hardware makes a difference. Based on what I'm reading, it seems like I'm due for a tune up.

mine's a 4x4 with 8.1L, 4.10 gear long bed. towing i get 9-11 and not towing maybe 15. i also use the cruise and do not(usually) use the tow/haul. highway speeds are 55-63 or there abouts depending on the actual limit.
always made me chuckle when people with 1/2 the rig get the same or worse mileage. only thing i can figure is at 55mph they're doing 3000rpm(or whatever) and i'm at 1700.
we bought this truck with the thought we'd be hanging on to it for a while so no matter what we bought it would be able to tow it. so far so good

That's some pretty close figuring. I'm at around 2500rpm at 65mph in 4th gear. But my TT is only around 6000-6300lbs.

(D) 5th gear is around 2100rpm when I'm not towing.

Hey come on, quit picking on me. I have 1/2 the rig you do @ a whopping 3200lbs dry and I get 10-11 mpg towing @ 2300rpm and 15 without.
My TV is in my signature.
