Plugged into shore power and couldn't get anything. 12 volt batteries tested at 13.5 volts. we also unplugged the refrig and plugged into house power still nothing. We did check the 2 wires coming in from battery to refrig and 12 volts were present.

I'm feeling like a control box.

Still wondering how hard starter is to replace????

Thanks much Dad

If you have what I think you do. Starter is easy to change. Getting to it may be another story.

it appears that about 4 bolts hold it in. Not sure but I have a transmission stand might lift it right out of there.

Look at the control box on the refrigerator, it will have 2 blue wires coming out going up in to the box- they will have quick connects on them. Unhook them and hook them together (they run all the power up to the on/off/high humidity switch, which goes bad quite often).

Chris are you saying to connect the two wires to each other after you disconnect them from the box??? Will this let the unit work then? Or will this just put power to the light letting you know the box is control box is not working??

Thanks Dad

Jim I will have to get that info if he pursues this MH.

Thanks Dad

Yes- hook the wires coming out of the board together (they are made to do that), which should make it work again- the only caveat is the interior light will not work, but then you will know what's wrong, and can replace the high humidity switch.
The board actually comes with those wires hooked together for single door models (without a light and door heater).

wow here's the deal-the owner of the MH got the Gen started and it is running fine. Come to find out the Batterys were just low enough that it wouldn't crank.

Refridg has te high humidity switch inside the door which we didn't see and it was in off position. Turned switch on and it lit find.

Problems are cured. Will Probably need new Batteries.

Thanks for all the help and tips.

Dad
