I am looking for experience based suggestions for a USED Class C, possibly small A <30', preferably under 26 feet. MUST have a slide, overhead bunk and preferably rear bed. Under $40 NADA base clean retail (without the adds). Thus, probably 2000 - 20003 model. Want reliable and well made. Thanks in advance for your recommendations!!

You should be able to find a Bigfoot in that range. My brother's family has one and I think it's well made machine. They (family of 4) essentially live in it during the ski season on weekends in the mountains and it's holding up just fine. They have a 29G (no slide) but it has a cavernous storage bay in the rear under the master bedroom.Bigfoot floorplans

Hey, thanks!!!
I had never heard of that brand. And the24SL or 26SL would be perfect!
See if anyone can top this one....

I think it'll be tough to find an under 25' C with both a slide and a rear bed, you might get a rear corner bed though. Usually you get a slide with a rear kitchen or bath but not both rear bed and slide with one that size.

Winnebago Outlook 26A (actual length 26'11") about as close to 26' with a rear bed and single slide

Looking at the NADA price guide LOW retail on a 2006 model is $ 40,800.00. that seems to be a fair price. Perhaps a 2005 would be a few K less.
When we started looking the 26A was on our list until I realized that the 26A was to long to fit on our driveway. My list originally was like yours (rear bed, Overhead bunk, single slide)

We looked at a 2003, 24' Itasca, made by Winnebago, with that floor plan but it didn't have the Rear Trunk, that trunk must be 24" deep. We bought one but ours has the dinette in place of the bed. And the Sofa-bed with tables where the dinette was, and no slide. We bought this new in the fall of '02 for 50,000.

Thanks again. Change bedding? Why would I want to do that? Had one before. Need to be a bit of an acrobat/ gymnast!

We were fighting with making up the rear corner bed and the overhead bunk until we got a pair of Trav-A-Saks like they sell at Camping World. Now we just roll 'em up and get on the road. In the evening, unroll the bedding and climb in. So simple and very comfortable especially on cold nights.
