I don't know what on earth the tow truck guy was thinking trying to pull like that from the boom. He should have snatch blocked to the bumper at the least. A couple of snatch block and the land rover would have winched right out. Hopefully it was his truck and not someone he worked for, even though it was a half ton.
If the line to the tow truck had let go the guy beside the driver's door might have had a serious headache. Those clowns had no idea what they were doing.
We once watched a similar performance while four wheeling. Two 4 bys pulling a third were coupled by a snatch strap that was hooked to the trailer ball. When things came unglued the strap nearly took the driver's head off when it tore through the cab window. The ball was nowhere to be found.
Old age and treachery always beats youth and enthusiasm

That is an example of what happens when folks who don't understand anything about rigging try it anyway. At least the only casualty was the truck, it certainly could have been worse.
It is an F-150 and whoever put the wrecker boom in it should have his ******** well you get it. That is why the Federal Government has to pass laws to protect us from MORONS!
As for the OP bet he posts somewhere about is Junk Fleetwood trailer having water leaks! The bottoms of most trailers are far from being sealed!
