I have a local advertisement here for a '97 Damon Intruder diesel pusher here with only 62000 miles. Just looking to see if there is anyone who currently owns (or owned) one to get their thoughts on their unit. the price definitely seems to be right on the money (as far as what NADA says it's worth), and the prices up here seem to usually be $5000-10000 over what NADA says despite the fact the currency is almost even now.
Thanks for any input.

Paul. I guess, so far, no one following the posts has had one or knows much about them. Don't depend a lot on on NADA unless you take a good percentage off, as that is what dealers have reported to sell them at, and the history may be old. As far as our Canadian dollar, dealers may have brought the unit in when the dollar was lower and want to still make their margin. You can't blame them for that, but you may find a much better deal as the dollar rises, and fresh inventory arrives. Just my 2 cents worth.
I don't think you will ever get the US prices in Canada. My previous Dodge Minivan was made in Ontario and was a lot less expensive in Michigan than if you wanted to buy it in Ontario. I guess your RV dealers just need to make a little more than our dealers plus your taxes are killers ( we will catch you soon though on the taxes).
