I would be willing to bet that 9 out 10 products you buy every day are from China.

On some days it's probably ten out of ten. It's almost impossible to find anything else. And now look what's happening with the Chinese drywall. Wow!

It seems so weird that we allow them to ship us such garbage. It's our greed at work, wanting something for nothing.

dmorgan: I bought some from Discount Tire Direct. They had good pricing and fresh mfg. dates. My local dealer could get them, but the mfg. dates were over a year old. Jim

We also had the the Duro 2100 16' "E" rated tires on our 34'Cameo. When ALL four valve stems failed when I was "airing up" for a trip, I grew concerned. I replaced all four valve stems, but lost trust in the tires. I am not sure if my reaction was completely justified, however I did change to GoodYear G 114 17.5" wheels/ tires, which are "H" rated. These are American manufactured tires.
I am too frightened of a tire failure. Most of us have grandkids and loved ones who might travel with us. There is no substitute for safety. Last week's tragedy at Ft. Hood speaks to how capricious life can be.
