Is the theory correct?
Do U release air suspension without using levelers when parking overnight at Walmart?
Yes, also, since we almost can't use the MH without a slide or two out we park with the bedroom and living room slide over the parking lot edge, put the jacks down (just enough to stabilize it) and put the slides out. That way we take up no room in the lot with the slides. Then we go in a stock up to repay the courtesy of being allowed to catch a few hours rest. We've even had the Wal*Mart empl. come out and invite us in for free coffee. Naturally we also bought breakfast there.
We don't stay at Walmart. We prefer a regular campground.
I always wondered why anybody who spends as much on their equipment , as we do, who plans, as much as we do, and shops at Wal-Mart like we do. would choose to spend to night in their parking lot?

I stay at Wal-Mart because it is easy to find and allows me to stop and shop at the same time. When en-rout to a destination I do not need any services so why take the time to hunt down a camp ground and pay for stuff I do not need.
Please stay overnight at Walmart and buy lots and lots of products !
Thank You !

I like to differentiate the Campground / Walmart with the terms "camping" and "parking". When we "park" at Walmart for a few hours rest, it is usually dark when we arrive and barely daylight when we leave. I do put the jacks down and let some of the air out just enough to take some of the shake out when we walk around inside. I do not extend the slide, get out the lawn chairs, and extend the awning, because that is stuff to do when we get where we are going to "camp". I can "air up and jacks up" while I am doing the walk around inspection, so no time lost there. In addition to "parking", we usually take the opportunity to stock up the fridge and food pantry, so everyone wins.

I've not had the occasion to stay at a WalMart yet. But regardless, I only dump my air if I'm going to use the leveler jacks. If I'm stopped for the night, it's either on the full air suspension, or on the empty airbags and leveler jacks. I never dump the air and leave it that way -- the only time I have the airbags empty and not on the jacks is that brief time when I am actively extending or retracting the jacks.
Personally, I don't see the benefit of staying on the deflated suspension. I get all sorts of creaks and groans from the rig as it settles on the bump stops of the suspension. I figure that causes flex and twisting on the frame, and that can't be a good thing in the long run.
