Would you buy it instead of a Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Ford Focus?

There are many of these running around the Detroit area right now. They are all the current EU version. It'll be another year or so before the American version comes out. BTW: Chrysler has already been saved. Look for the Nov 5th announcement about the five year plan.....

A Corolla or Civic is a limo compared to a 500. This car is meant to compete with the Mini, Smart car or maybe FIT or the other small cars. I'll stick with our FIT.

Its more the size of a Ford KA,in fact it shares the same platform.

KA looks better to me.

It is small but gets 45 MPG and has 4 large person seats. It should sell around $15,000 US and 500C (top goes down side window frame stay)at $18,000 US when gasoline goes to plus $3.00 a gallon, it will sell. Just hope it's not the old Fix It Again Tony, FIAT. It's OK for cities and country roads, but not an interstate cruiser.

Nope. The FIAT has two seats in the front so you can take your riding mechanic. A couple of salty winter roadtrips through Michigan will erode away what's left. Talk about a model that will depreciate more than any other Chrysler product... lol. That's the only contest it might win.

The only cars to save Chrysler are the Jeep and the Cummins diesel pickup, the very two the "new management in town" would have them ditch.

The Yugo was cute too. Especially the ones with the Pizza warmer option to attract the delivery men.
