I HATE the ladder that came attached to out TT. You know, the one attached to back. Who like s climbing straight up a wall? Much easier to do at an angle, so I need suggestions on a good collapsable ladder.

Thanks

You're probably going to get a lot of differing views on this. I use the TeleSteps 1600 collapsible ladder. It's got a very convenient 16 ft. climbing height, and is easy to carry, use and store. It also telescopes up to just the height you need in one foot increments and weighs only 22 pounds. The thing I really like about it is that it has a small footprint when collapsed, so I keep it in the back of the truck so I can use it at home and at the TT. They're not cheap (I paid $200 two years ago), but I have used the heck out of it and it has held up very well for me.

I love my folding step ladder Link to ladder at Camping World

Easily gets me up to the awning/roof/slide top and folds up to about 8" x 6" x 7' so it stows in my front storage area.

Actually about 5"x5" and it fits very nicely in a 8' section of 5" vinyl fence post for no hassle storage.

Use this as both a bunk ladder and outside to get to the roof
Had for about 4 years now, been handy, easy to store, compact size.
Not the lightest I've ever seen though.

Don't see much difference between the ladder in the back and one laying on the side. Besides, the back ladder won't mark the edge of the RV when using the ladder. The Little Giant will allow you to set it up like a step ladder alongside without touching it but still fold up into a smaller package.
It would be a lot cheaper to get used to the ladder in the back.

I have a Telesteps ladder, I really like it. Had something like the Little Giant before, I like the Telesteps better. Its all personal choice.

I love my Werner. Top notch quality, no plastic parts to break on you at the most inopportune time... say 5 feet off the ground.

Ditto on the Telesteps ladder and the one I have is the 12' model that I've been carrying for probably 10 to 15 years. I even prefer that for getting up on my one floor roof areas at home over dragging out my 24 or 40' regular extension ladders.
