If while traveling down I70 in Illinois and you want a very clean, easy off hgwy campground in Effingham IL go to Camp Lakewood CG. Very nice staff,extra clean, laundry room inexpensive and the rates were unbelievable.

We have been stopping from the 60's. It has changed hands over the last few years. CG is close to just about any service you would need.

I made it a point to stop there at least twice a yr Great owner. Also, really good food at the firefly right down the street
