I have a Montana 2007 model 3400 and want to carry a 300# motorcycle ont the back, it has a slide hitch and I thought I could buy a cycle rack and carry it that way. Do you experts see anything wrong with that? Or has anyone done it with that model? Thanks Sanford

I don't think 300# or so would be any problem. Get a good welder to mount the rack.

What a concept. looks like they don't sell built trailers. Where can you buy a finished product?

forgot to mention I use a rear camera with screen in truck to keep an eye on the bike for peace of mind. your bike will remove 150Lbs. from pin you might be able to compensate by moving spare tire to place in front of axles or some other options water in tanks if forward of axle or a couple cases of beverage in front closet. Just a thought

Hi Sanford,
We use to carry our Harley on the back of our 5th wheel on a custom made rack. I have sent you a picture of the set up. We took it off when we traded the 5th wheel for our class A.

Hi. I had planned on doing something like what you are doing, with my LANCE Truck Camper, but changed due to the height to drive the bike on and off. I was going to extend the frame out to provide support for the platform.
The following pictures are from a Class C (Refurbed Airport Shuttle) that was similar to what I was considering. Hope these help.

Hope these help you in what you are planning.

I use this to haul my Suzuki DRZ400sm on the back of my 2003 27' Skyline Alliance. Inexpensive and lightwieght.
