Well, I finished winterizing- blew out all the lines, pumped in pinkstuff, added stuff to diesel fuel, polished the rig, hooked up trickle charger to chasis battery, 303'd the tires and put on tire covers and put winter cover on rig. Now I am sitting here and I had a thought. Did I need to blow out the line for the blank tank flush? Will that be ok with out the water been blown out?

Sink traps. Outdoor shower plumbing, as needed. And, yes, the lines for tank flush.

Did you pump pink thru the toilet flush valve? Each and every faucet, Inside and Outside shower? All P-traps? Ice Maker? Clothes Washer? Empty Water heater tank and bypass it? Empty all holding tanks? Take out all food and freezables? And remove anything a mouse can make a nest out of.

Thanks to all that replied, but I have done everything that everyone has suggested. I didn't list everything that I did because I didn't want my post to go on forever.

My only concern is whether the black tank flust line needed to be blown out or will it be ok if I didn't blow it out.

I would rethink the term trickle charger as opposed to battery minder charger. A trickle charger will damage your batteries over a long charging period.

You don't need to blow out the black tank flush line. It should drain on its own.

I was just asking myself the same question as I was winterizing my 5th wheel. I haven't the past four years and no problem. But I was looking at it for some reason this year and wondering do I need to blow out that line. I can't see where it would hurt but mine has not froze and broke yet and it gets plenty cold here.

tmmar - If you are referring to the hose fitting for a tank flush system, yes it is a good idea and recommended to blow that out also.
