I have a 1981 Honda Twin 200 I want to bring to florida with me. Can I get something made up or bought for around a $1000.00 to mount on my Motorhome, I think it weighs about 800 lbs. Thats about all I can scrape up this year. Any Ideas or web sites would be appreciated.

No, not for $1000.00. Unless you got real lucky and found a used lift.
Consider shipping your bike to and from Florida. Cost is not real bad from what I understand. By the way, not all Class A's are candidates for a bike lift.

Ted. According to the Honda website your bike is only 302.4 lbs wet.
This may change some of the responses you get here. I have my Harley in the back of a toyota tacoma which I tow behind my motor home. Good luck.

Usually with a gas powered Class A, the shorter wheel base models (32") are more a candidate to deal with a bike lift then the longer wheel base models such as yours. If a good gasser candidate, usually max weight of bike is say 700 lbs.

Overloading the rear axle, etc. is the issue.
Here is the formula you use when adding such a lift.

Bike Lift Formula:

Measure the distance from the center of rear axle to the center of the weight (Lift). Divide that number by the RV’s wheelbase. Multiply the result by 100 to get percent. That percent of the load is added to the load and becomes the total load added to the rear axle. That percent of the load is subtracted from the front axle weight and unloads the front axle by that amount.

Yup, 138.0 kg (304.2 pounds) is the wet weight of that bike.

Both racks I made myself. The rear one is strong enough to pull a 5000lb boat, to the keys and back twice so far! Just make it strong!
I set up 3 receiver hitches on the front and back with exactly the same dimensions so any thing I make will fit on either end. And when removed the receivers look very clean, as if they belong there. The racks also break down, I can take off the extra headlights or the upper rear rack with just a couple of pins! I have about 5 hundred in both racks, plus considerable time. Bring your rig to WI and I'll see what I can do!

Front rack.

Rear rack.

Unhappy but clean cat!

This is a little more expensive than you want to spend, but I think it's the ultimate motorcycle carrier. My partner just had one installed on his Allegro 35 and it carries his Harley just fine...
