Ford Dealer told me my 2009 Sunstar 32k needs to be inspected (PA) twice a year rather than annually?
Does anyone know the real answer?

Thanks in advance

Never heard of that one... I live in PA and only have an annual inspection on my motorhome, car, truck and motorcycle. Some areas may have an emmissions inspection but I thought that was done at the same time.

I live in South Central PA and there is only one annual inspection required. The requirements are posted on the PA DOT website. Maybe the dealer is suggesting you have the dealer inspect it twice each year.

I agree with tbe others - that's a crock. Paying that stupid tax and dealer annuity once a year is bad enough.

They use to do a twice a year inspection way back in the 60's or 70's, they did away with that, it is a once a year inspection now. Just got mine inspected three weeks ago, good for another year.

Look at your inspection sticker. It will tell you the expiration date. I have my DP inspected annually at a truck repair garage. The expiration date usually corresponds with your license renewal month.

the state inspection is 1 time a year based on your registration date. The dealer is likely suggesting a general coach inspection 2 times a year.

The Pa. inspection was one of the reasons I left there 40 years- twice a year-- stupid.

Dealer said anything over 16000lbs need to be inspected 2x /year ..he meant State Inspection not a general coach inspection ...I looked on the DOT site and its either not there or I can't seem to find it ...does anyone have a cite to the appropriate regulation
