Every so often I read about a fellow RVer who has lost everything in a RV fire. I have also known people who have lost their stick house to fire or other disaster. It got me to thinking about all the ‘stuff’ we have in our MH and in our stick house. If it were to all go up in smoke how would I remember everything in every drawer and closet. I remembered a home inventory program I received from my insurance agent. I plugged it in and started to list and photograph all the ‘stuff’ in our MH and the stick house. So I thought I’d share it with everyone, plus it’s free.

I think I’ll also do a video of everything in the drawers and closets and store the memory stick in the safe deposit box. We also have Carbonite for our computer backup so even if we loose our computer we will still have a copy of our RV and house inventory.

thanks so much for posting the site. What a good idea! One of those things we've "talked about" but never got around to doing. With the wind blowing the way it is in Yuma today, seems like a good time to start.

My thinking...as long as my loved ones and dog survive I will be OK. The rest of the stuff, although hard to lose, is just stuff.
