On my 08 Seneca 35GS there are two pocket doors that are held secure in travel mode with a “snap-in-a-strap”, latch system. This latch system has proven to be hard to unlatch and latch. The sound of the pocket door closing while traveling has convinced me another type of latch system is needed. Research on the Internet has failed to find a replacement for this latch setup. Has anyone replaced this, also called “tie back strap” with another easier to secure pocket door system while traveling? Thanks for any input you might have.

Put a shot of WD-40 inside the snap cups and it will get much easier. That's how I fixed mine.

I too have a Seneca 35GS with the same strap that is giving you problems. I lubricated the male end of the strap with a dollip of 'Chap-Stick" and it works as good as new.
