I'm thinking about working this fall/winter to find a nice little CG that can host a spring get together. Needs to at least have water/electric. Some state parks may qualify. Hoping to find some activities like an indoor pool, maybe a shelter house where we could go in the event of bad weather. And one that's not $45/nite. Baylor Beach comes to mind although it doesn't have a pool. Also Scenic Hills but I think some of us are burned out on Amish country. Thought about Salt Fork. More later.

I think a shelter and low cost are important and time spent with friends is priceless.

I like going to new places and its cool if there is some kind of event or attraction to go see. Not too many trees or I go thru satellite withdraw. Lets kill the potlucks as a "must do" as many of us are starting to really watch what we eat. Keep tossing ideas out and lets see if a theme or trend comes out of it. Eat out weekends is another concept. Randu

I know it is in the Amish area but Amish Family Campgrounds near Winesburg is not bad. Very Nice people and clean restrooms. Water/Electric and was $21/night. Don't know about this year.

You are my kind of camp buddy. Any time I don't have to cook and use the time sewing is a great day.

Cancelled my reservation at Evergreen due to the fact I'm not healing fast enough to be able to get around as needed. Today I was offered over $5000 for my camper with Kelly Bluebook saying it is worth -$2000.

Turned it down. There is nothing built today comparable and he claimed there are none out there for sale. Another family I know bought the smaller model then mine and two years older, in worse shape for $4900 so I'll wait another 10 years and see if I can get $10,000.
