I think that sounds like a great idea! Enjoy it

There's no place like home; that's why we take ours with us

Wish I could! 6-8% grade for 75 yds. Every chance of snow (a few times each winter) a car is moved to the top of the driveway.
It would be my doghouse for sure.

I like my van, but...........I have a 50'x 12' covered patio and a new Weber grill that we use a lot. When the yard apes behind me are not screaming, it's a wonderful place to spend time and relax. (I do not mind the sound of children playing, the two that live behind me sound like somebody's killing them whenever they're outside)
That patio is probably the reason I haven't used my van as much as I thought I would. When fuel costs are this high, I just toss some burgers on the bbq, and relax. I have just a 1/2 acre, but lots of trees and bird feeders.

Maybe some Rhino ramps (the 12,000 lb. type) would solve your grade problem.

One place we park our PW has a side-to-side slope, so we put the low side "up" on Rhino ramps and we're then level.

Cheers.

We made a crushed stone pad with a standard electrical hookup in a nice shaded area at our summer camp. A nice place to spend the night and very handy for guest overflow. They get the cottage and we get the RT!

When we built our house in Wisconsin Dells, we have 4 acres, we added a gravel side drive, carport, sewer dump, and 30 amp box for our Roada and visitors. We never have to worry about finding a place to dump our tanks. Best thing we ever did.

We use our yard as a campground frequently. We're on 3 heavily wooded acres, with the house set about 1/2 mile off the road. It's much more peaceful here than any campground. There is plenty of driveway space and plugs ins at the barn and at the house. We have used our B as a spare bedroom many times. We ususally give our room to the guest, and we go sleep outside. Like the OP mentioned, it's also a handy "hide from the guests" spot every once and a while (like when the MIL is visiting)

Well I did get started on it (This project) and graded it out and dug the fire pit and started some other landscaping. I found some fire rings like the forrest service uses at a place called RV PARK SUPPLIES and prepared to pour concrete but its going to snow and rain for 5 days now. I took out some branches of the trees too close also. Once the weathers good Ill get some pea gravel and add a table then plant the flowers! cant wait-anyone else- I take my ideas from here. Id like to add the sewer but Id have to dig up my septic tank and move it ( its too far to the house ) so I may just add a dump station right there as I would drive by it to get to this backyard spot. The powers allready there as there used to be a shed there that fell over from the snow-it was built in the 40s so its low power but just enough. and I have water right there too.
