The silver ones at the camping store that are meant to cover the door windows fit the skylights. Ours is velcroed on so we can remove it when we want more light.

P.S. A while back, someone advised me that putting reflecting material can cause the skylight to build up too much heat and it will crack. So, I have steered clear of using reflectix or similar product.
Anyone here have that happen to them?

I put the Reflectix between the inside and outside bubbles about 4 years ago and have not had any problems and that is in Florida. My RV is not stored under cover.

I tried the velcro-take on and off method and didn't like it. It looks tacky when its on and evertime you want to take a shower you have to remove it and put it somewhere. Plus it still left light thru the sides. I thought the velcro looked tacky too when the Reflectix wasn't on. THEN, if you forgot to put it back up (because it is night time) you wake up at dawn with light blaring thru.

When you put it between the bubbles, its always dark and invisible.

They make a light weight pillow to stuff in there. That's what we did and although it still lets in a little light it keeps the heat out.

I am really cheap, I pulled the lower half off, used a heavy black garbage bag and duct taped it on. Then applied a heavy white garbage bag and duct taped it on, with the thought the white would not attract as much heat. Sealed it back up, that was 2 years ago, get no light see no ill effects and was out about 30 cents...

My solution was to buy a roll-up shade from a baby department in a store. I removed the roll mechanism, insterted dowels on each side (measured and cut to snugly fit the length of the inside of the skylight). I can remove it if I wish, and can also put a precut styrofoam piece in first to block cold in the winter.
(The second pic also shows how I used some pvc pipe to expand my arm room when I shower.)

Home is where you park it.
Happy trails!

In the desert under a street light. We used aluminum foil duct tape on the outside. Darkened the bed room. Prevents UV from sunburning the plastic. Lasts for years.
