Been telling my self for over the past year to go get a duplicate set made. Lesson learned I guess. Set to go on a trip tomorrow morning and cant even get inside my trailer (04 WW). Looks like we'll be taking my brothers trailer and I'll be calling a locksmith when we get back into town. Learn from my mistake and go get some keys made if you haven't already...

A "Hide-a-key" box somewhere on the trailer chassis will be a big help when (not if!) it happens to anyone else!

For home, car, truck and RV!

or be subtle, tape a cargo door key to the inside of your propane area. Place a trailer door key in one of your storage/access/something areas. I would go for an area that doesn't' have anything stored, like power, water, sewer.

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.

Extra set of keys stays in the F450 glove box always. The toy hauler doesn't go anywhere without the truck.

Do you have Coach Net road service? I am not sure if they cover toy haulers though. If so, they would unlock your door but not pay for new keys made.

Can you get inside the trailer via the ramp door? If so and your trailer deadbolt key had "FIC" on the black plastic head the following PDF file may be helpful.

She is sealed shut. THe ramp door has two big paddle locks and all the windows are latched shut. I don't have time to deal with it right now so just going to tackle it when we get back. Hate to see what a locksmith is going to charge to make three new keys

Every RV place has a master key. Drive by one on the way out of town and have them open it for you.
