Safely home from another (7th) successful Fall Friendship Gathering!
Thanks to Dave and Ris for their hospitality. The weekend was all about getting to see Alyssa and Danielle-National Champions!-cheer at a football game.
It's easy to see why they are National Cheering Champs! Great football game as Jackson Memorial beat Brick in an exciting away game that went down to the last play.
Thanks to Bonnie, Ed, Buddy and Alison for joining us! So cool to see how grown the kids are!
Thanks to Kurt and Sue for joining us and hosting us in their motorhome for the Friday night pot luck. Hope you had as much fun with us as we did with you! I miss Kurts sense of humor already!
Finally, thanks to Larry and Linda for making the trip from Ohio and visiting with us for a week, here on our beautiful Long Island, before heading over to the campground in New Jersey. My new dump valve is not leaking! Thanks so much for the install.
We enjoyed everyone's company and value everyones friendship, and missed those that couldn't make it.
Thanks again so much, for making the trip, hanging out, and having fun!
And Dick A....I mentioned that to Larry over the weekend. We never made it to a sticky!

2004 Jeep Liberty Don't take your organs to Heaven. Heaven knows we need them here! Dave has a dog named Muffy and Mike owns a Cockapoo!
We went to the Football game and got to watch the kids act like kids (Jim and Larry) we also saw the girls cheer their team at Brick
It started off as a flag fest with yellow the color of the first half
The girls did an excellent job leading the team on (except someone owes pushups)
What a freakin game no score first half
But the two best catches of the night went to some big kid (guess who) pushin off smaller adversaries (Larry) to snag two small red footballs
The officials should have thrown the flag because of over zealous celebration
Five TDs second half and a last second pass deflected to seal a victory
Then it was off to watch a car burn (not part of the post game activities)
We get back to Dave and Ris MH sing Happy Birthday (twice) and have victory pie
But..........it was not all fun and games (I guess it really was)as Jim's weird obsession with Florida State came asunder for at least one week with a loss but Larry did not get through unscathed as oHIo State also fell But .........good news Donna didnt fall YEAAAAAAAAAAA Donna...........Maddie seems to like Sponge Bob........One Colangelo kid tired from not doing pushups went home to sleep while the other two showed and got to listen to inane chit chat........Well off to the land of NOD

I still keep laughing from all the visions of the weekend. So sad it went by so fast!
This is definitely one of the Best Birthday weekends ever. So thankful I have such wonderful Friends and we Love you all!
Miss all who couldn't make it but hopefully soon!
Hope we can plan another gathering soon. I don't think I will make it the whole winter.
Well, it is Monday evening and we (me and Linda) are sitting down at home for the first time. We left Pine Cone yesterday morning and drove to Medford to watch Alyson play field hockey and enjoy a nice lunch with Bonnie and Ed. After that we drove until my eyelids got heavy and we ended up staying somewhere in Pennsylvania. Finished the drive home this morning, picked up our mail, took Linda to the Dr., then started to unload the RV. I'm tarred!!!
In summary, we had an awesome time with everyone. This will be a week that we will remember for a long time. Thanks Jim and Donna and Maddie for your wonderful hospitality and for providing us the opportunity to meet Donna's mom. She is wonderful, as is Smith's Point. Dave, Ris, and the wonderful trio, what can I say? I had more fun at that football game than I can possibly describe, and what a finish! The girls were great and so was the game.
We got to Medford in time to see the second half of the field hockey game and although Aly's team didn't fair as well as did the Jaguars, it was still a fun time as I got to see my first ever field hockey game.
To all our friends, thank you all for your friendship and can't wait to see you again!
Today is my personal best for most consecutive days alive.
