I have a 2007 Fleetwood Gearbox 295FS and I just started noticing a humming noise when going slow through a campground or turning at slow speed. I have a pullrite superglide hitch in my 2006 GMC CCSB 4x4 Duramax. My First trip out I had the wiring plugged into the bumper because I hadn't wired a plug into the bed yet. I did not notice anything then. I have the plug in the bed now and it is making that noise. Coincidence?? I do not hear this noise when at speeds. I do lube the slider rails before each trip. Any help would be great.
can you better describe the humming noise ?
have you had someone stand outside while your driving by to see where it might be coming from ?
you mention you have a GM product - sure it's not your fuel pump on your truck ?

I can hear the noise pretty good from the drivers seat. The noise is almost like two pieces of metal rubbing together and vibrating very slowly. I don't think it is the fuel pump since I have a Duramax Diesel. Only makes the noise when trailer is hooked up.
