I have CO2 in my tires and have not had a blowout. Does that mean CO2 is the reason for not having a blowout?? Hell no... This is what people are trying to tell the OP. There is no correlation between blowouts and WHAT you fill your tires with to say one is better than the other

I would say this debate is very similar to putting regular oil or synthetic oil in your car and which is better....Consumer reports did a study several years ago in which some NYC taxi cabs were maintained with regular and some with synthetic. They ran them for 150K miles in stop and go NYC traffic and then disassembled the engines and found no noticeable advantage to synthetic over regular. Pretty much the same with nitrogen over air. And if I could REALLY make $50,000 a week from my tiny one-bedroom apartment, Don Lapre wouldn't have been arrested recently

Thanks again
Since you want anecdotal data for some reason, here is my anecdote:
I've never had a blowout in over 500,000 miles of driving. I always use plain air. Hence plain air must prevent blowouts.

Does that answer your question?

Maybe I misinterpreted, but I got the idea the OP was looking for more than one response from all you nitrogen folks...

You did and I missed it - didn't see the words "no blowout" I was looking for.
Still, I think the OP would like to have more than two first-person reports - not that I think we will really learn anything. Most people's minds are already made up - either they buy it (nitrogen) or they don't. I don't.
