Alright, this is going to sound ridiculous, but I can't figure out how to get to the bulb. These light fixtures (2011 Komfort 3530FBH 5th wheel) are round, almost flush with the ceiling with a little bulge for the bulb. But the surface has no holes! I can pull the fixture out a little more than an inch, but it feels like it's held in by a spring.

Anyone familiar with these fixtures? How do I get at the bulb?

Thanks very much,
Mike

Change a light bulb?

You'll need 288 politicians.

1 to properly explain how to do it

and 287 that will argue that it's the wrong way even if it isn't!

I've seen similar fixtures that do in fact have a spring on each side.
The springs in the fixture that I'm familiar with allow the cover to pull down and then you reach in from the side and sqeeze the two arms together to pull it the rest of the way down. Hard to describe.

Try grabbing the outer ring and twist counter clockwise about 1/2 inch.

Thats correct, push up slightly and turn counter clock wise. When replacing the bulbs may sure not to touch them with you bare skin, it leaves oil and they want last as long use something to hold the bulb. Keep spare bulbs use will need them. Happy Trails....

A pic would help. I ran into this on a rig a few weeks ago. Same type of light fixture. There is a ridge or lip about 1/4" bigger than the glass and I had to get a sharp pointed tool and pry ever so carefully. The glass and surrounding flange dropped down and gave me access to the bulb. By the way, the bulb was not blown and tapping on the fixture brought the light on. That fixture and 7 others in the ceiling all came on after tapping on them. Strange stuff. Good luck and try tapping.

Or 2 bartenders...
1 to hold the bulb and 1 to drink 'til the room spins

Or 5 guitar players...
1 to screw in the bulb and 4 to sit around saying, "I could totally do that."

Keep pulling down to get complete fixture out of its mounting.
Here is what it looks like when removed. Recess Can Light.
Make sure that your fingers are out of the way of spring retainers. They snap down like a mouse trap.
As already stated. The lenses is a twist lock piece of glass. You may need to pull down on fixture and hold housing to get lenses off.
