I found a tent site in bahia honda state park on reserveamerica.com
I read in the forum some good fedback.
What do you think? The price in 38.50 per night. Good rate in my opinion.
Any suggestion?

Bahia Honda has some of the nicest beaches on the Keys.
You were lucky to get a tent site there in March.
We will be there in our travel trailer for several two weeks stays during the winter.

Sleep in a tent will be the first experience for my daughter Emma. She's only two years old.
I hope to be a good choice....

We stopped at Bahia Hondo park today for a picnic lunch. We were on our way to Key West for our first visit. I wanted to see the state park. It is very nice. The beaches were very pretty. I think you will like your choice. We are staying at Boyd's Rv park. It also is very nice. They have numerous tent sites here. They are very scenic, a little close together. The people here are very nice. The price is a lot more than the state park.

Now I don't mean to burst your bubble, but what kind of weather are you used to in Italy? I only ask because in the Keys it's darn hot... day and night. If you're not used to that, tenting or anything else without air conditioning relief might not be a very good idea in the Keys.
Just my 2 cents.

In italy we have a lot kind of weather.
In the summer usualy we have 30/35° Celsius in the day and 20/25 in the night.
In the our house we don't have the air conditioning.
Which kind of weather we can find in march?

The weather in March will be gorgeous. 80-85 F every day and 70-75 at night. A rain squall might blow thru but will not last long.

Try this campground. We just stayed there in our RV for two weeks, 39 miles from Key West. Bahia Honda is a few miles south towards Key West. They have cabins for rent, I don't know the price call or email them.
