New at this site! Been using search engines trying to find areas in the Florida area. where RV parking would be a reasonable cost for a three month coverage.Any sites out there that give direction for seniors. Thanks! L

There are lots of CGs in Florida, but the closer you get to either coast or attractions like Disney, the higher the cost. Check out RV Park Reviews to check out RV parks in any areas that interest you. If you're planning on spending the winter, be sure that you have a reservation. Florida is a very popular winter destination.

Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.

reasonable is difficult to find in FL in the winter. If you don't want a lot of frills, try Thousand Palms Lake Panasoffkee (near Inverness) Hwy 44 not far from I-75. Not fancy, but friendly and near enough to the town of Inverness for shopping, restaurants, etc.

The directions for senior and younger are all the same but may include a discount for seniors.

Cross Creek in Arcadia, FL. or search in RV Parks for `florida' then search the results for `cheap' or `low cost' etc.

Rates can vary from about $300/month in northern FL to over $2000/month down in south FL.Closer to tourist areas the more they think they can get. Have one just down the road from where I live for under $300/month with 11 spots.About 10 miles to Lake City and 30 miles to Gainesville.

Other half is camping with the angels,Riding alone for now.

It depends on what you're looking for in a Resort or campground. And it also depends on the time of the year. And it depends on what you consider reasonable. What kind of place are you looking for?

We lucked out and found a place for under $200 a month in the Ocala area, if we take it for at least 3 months of the winter season.

Where in Florida? I've found cost of land and rental prices to be extremely location sensitive, from a few hundred dollars a month in the north central interior to more than five times as much in the Keys or on the water in the south or southwest part of the state.
