It's that time again! Time to send in your money to me for the 18th bi-annual San Antonio Lake (SAL) RV.net Rally. Dates: Friday, Feb. 17th & Saturday, Feb. 18th. Cost is $80.00 for both nights with full hookups (W, E & S no cable). Money should be in to me no later than Dec. 30th.
A good majority of us are staying over Sunday night as Monday is a holiday for most (President's Day). We will all need to pay for this night separately. I can collect that money on Sunday and take it down to the gate. We will have access to the group room Fri - Mon. We will be at the Redonda Vista Group Camping area.

Good Morning. Do to us planing on doing a whole bunch of traveling we will not be attending the Feb Rally. However we do plan on attending the Oct Rally
Have a ball and knowing me I'll be hanging around this one and either lurking or posting........
If It weren't for flash backs I would have no Memory at all
If you don't stand behind our TROOPS feel free to stand in front of them during a fire fight

Got a scary phone call at 2:30am this morning to let me know that our oldest daughter was in an accident. Stephanie was driving home from her BF's house and on a road with a 50mph speed limit she encountered a 17 yo Hispanic male riding a push scooter in the middle of the road wearing dark clothes, nothing reflective and no lights. She did not see him until it was too late and couldn't avoid hitting him. She is fine but the kid got transported to the ER by ambulance. We're not sure of the extent of his injuries. Her car is still drivable but the windshield needs to be replaced.
Sure would like to know what that kid was thinking riding his Razer scooter in the middle of the road at 2:00AM in the morning? I suspect he must have been drunk or high.

That would be very scary...I am very glad Stephanie is OK. She must be very shaken. I hope the boy is fine, but I bet you're right about his "condition" on why he was doing something so careless and dumb.

Give Steph a hug for me too. I am glad to hear she wasn't hurt. One would think that the kid would have at least heard or seen the headlights of Steph's car and gotten out of the way.
