The keys to my storage locks say Southco on them. Any ideas what kind of locks I have?
So whoch should I use WD40 or Tri Flow??

Don, I have the same wallpaper and seam problems I just take a roller to them and all is fine.
I bought this so we would have a second rig for my daughter and her fiancé, but have found it to be a good coach, I like the small size which allows us to get into places my 60+ feet rig won’t go.

I like the size a lot. We downsized in 2 steps. First from a 41 ft DP towing a Tahoe to a Kodiak gasser towing the Tahoe. Then to the 26QP towing a 2011 Escape. This wallpaper slip is the only issue we had other than a plumbing joint that came apart when first used and fixed quickly by the dealer. Our first DP was a new 2004 Journey 39W and it was just one problem after another. This one has been a surprise and a delight from the lack of problems to date (touch wood) and the nice size. At times I say it would be nice to have our 40PLQ again when staying for any length of time but the work involved changes my mind quickly. We had ours serviced at 6 months and then a year (last week). Total cost $115. Can't complain. Having experienced the airbags on this C, if I could turn the calendar back 4 years I'd immediately put them on the Kodiak Super C. A big difference in ride. The steering stabilizer that is standard is small compared with a Safe-T-Plus but so far we've seen no reason to upgrade it or make any suspension changes.

Southco is a large lock company based out of the UK with distributors around the world, most of their product is import and built to be competitive in price ( not quality). I do not like there dust shutters prone for problems. WD-40 is your best friend,

maybe a dumb idea ....but would a magnet stuck on the outside of the lock keep junk out? Any idea what kind of metal the locks are made out of?

Zinc, and I have not seen magnetic dirt, if you have a concern they do have flip over covers for most cam locks.

correct WD-40 requires more frequent use, the fact that it leaves no heavy residual is why it is a better choice.
