We lived in a fifth wheel for three years, with a Splendide. It was great, once we realized the limitations of the unit. Do NOT overload it!
Also, be sure to get the VENTED version, not the condensing one.
We would run one or two loads per day, usually in the morning and evening.
It was wonderful not having to spend half a day in a laundromat, and, we always knew exactly what had been in the washer before we used it!
If wqe ever go full-timing again, it WILL be in a unit with the washer/dryer!

We are full-timers and have the unvented Splendide. Sure, it is not perfect and the loads are small, but we love having it. We usually use CG's with full-hookups; if you are a boondocker it may not be as important to you.

I don't think I want to do a tiny load of laundry daily, butwould rather spend 2 hours at a laundry mat once every two weeks. That is what I have been doing for years.
It would be nice if the built in washer/dryer was about 2.5 - 3 cubic feet, would handle a large blanket, but they don't.
I don't stay in full hookup sites often, thus my desire not to have one.
I do have a Fisher Paykel dishwasher, and use it at least twice a week. Single drawer, it is just below my sink.

we have a stacking washer/dryer combo in the M/H and the splendid XC
in the outdoor kitchen.The splendid XC is as good as or better than the combo stacking for washing but for drying the stand alone dryer is more effective
If you have the option, get the stackable. We have the Bosch stackable w/220 dryer. Load size is very close to what we use at home and dryer is fast. Need to have the 10kw generator to make the dryer work or 50amp shore power. Not a problem so far and we can wash and dry two loads in a couple of hours or less.

Highly recomend the splendide combo. Has worked well for us for almost 9 years of full timing. We will be changing it out this year for the newer model. Its getting a little quarky but still runs.

the 110 dryer works well and no extra and exspensive rewire system required
