Over the 30 odd years we have lived her, we have opened our hearts to many strays. After our last one had to be put to sleep for cancer, we really were hoping that would be the end. It is so painful to lose them and usually when we find them, they have had no vet care and are not healthy.
Oh well, this angel showed up at our door a while back. I understand that a neighbor down the street died and it was his cat. His family didn't want it so they just left it.
I haven't named him yet but for now I call him Precious.

What a beautiful cat - love those eyes! Thanks for taking care of him/her! Rescuing is so rewarding, isn't it??

You did the right thing...how does one resist this beautiful cat!
We have done it too, many times and have never regretted it.
I think throw away pets make the adjustment and love you forever for
taking them in.

I think I have made a decision on his name.... Sterling. I also have him scheduled for surgery in two weeks.

What a beautiful cat. It looks like a purebred cat but I can't think of the name of the breed. Bless you for caring for him.
