We'll be picking up a new camper at Couch's RV Nation in Hamilton,OH in April. The plan is to spend a couple of nights near by so we can thoroughly check it out before heading home to New York. Can anyone suggest a decent campground in the area? We're picking up a CC 36RB and it's 41' long, so the campground must be able to handle a big rig. Thanks in advance for the help.

I'd suggest Winton Woods County Park. Route 4 south to I-275W to exit 39 South (Winton Road) for 4 miles.
15 miles total from downtown Hamilton.

Be sure you call them first. A lot of campgrounds in Ohio close down November 1. I just came from the Cincinnati area and had a really hard time finding ANY campground open.

They'll be open next April, when he's picking it up.

Oak Creek just south of Cinci is open all year. It is an OK park for an overnight and not far off I-75 also convenient for I-71 travel.

call the dealer and get recommendations from them. They may have some hook ups on site for you!

Hueston Woods State Park is a very nice park, about 20 miles away, and will accomodate you in the A & B loops no problem.

I bought my fiver from them back in the fall of 2008. At the time they didn't have a campground to stay at however I did take it back for warranty work and was able to stay in their lot with power provided. No sewer but I can go several days with on board water and waste tanks. Good luck
