Every spring I wax my rig and each year I use a different brand of wax. Last year I waxed followed by polish. Never seems to last the year. Next spring I intend to try a new aproach. Been reading good things about a product called Poly Glow. May try that or Aero space stuff. Merry CHRISTmas

You've got it backwards, Polish 1st, then wax or synthetic finish as needed. Polish restores the surface shine, wax protects the polished surface. Wax or other finishes really only last a couple months when out in the elements.

We've used the Meguire's and also Turtle Wax, but have heard lots of good things about the 303. Since we have to buy something this spring, think we'll check into that. Our DF is a big believer in Mequire's (sp??) then rub off by hand, another coat and then a very light touch with the buffer. Does a dynamite job! Poor ROO didn't even get a good bath before it's grey sweater went on this year, so it'll be a bigger job come spring.

I Have been using the same wax for many years on my cars and now on the camper, Collinite No. 845 Insulator wax. Easy to use and it says right on the bottle for Automotive,Marine,Rv,Aeronautical and Industrial use. I have used Megiures, Mothers and Turtle wax in the past and Collinite has given me the best protection.. But i do love Meguires Quick Detail spray in between washes!!!

For those who recommend the 303 Aerospace Protectant, I'm wondering about three things: 1) how many gallons should I buy to cover a 36' FW (not including the vinyl roof); 2) how long does it last before needing to be reapplied; and what method do you use to apply it (by hand or with a buffer)? We're considering using it this week if we can find the product local.
