Suburban gas furnace has just stopped working - stove top and water heater still working so I know there is gas - when we turn on the furnace the fan goes on but the heat does not kick in - not a major problem as we spend the winter in Florida and usually get by with our electric heaters but there are those few days when it is really needed - any ideas about what may be wrong and how to fix it - thought I would check with the forum as they have been so helpfull in the past - Bob

X2, good things to check first. Also, check the diagnostic LEDs on the circuit board (then refer to your manual) as the code may lend a clue. Actually, when you dig into these heaters, they're pretty simple with only about 2 or 3 things that commonly go wrong.
probably the limit switch, just had my mine replaced .Suburban will not sell you the part you have to go to a certified suburban dealer to get it fixed, they have to take the heater out to fix it.
