I will also say use Red Max, it made my motor home look like new again. It has been on for about 8 months and it still looks good. Very easy to use.

I did my 38ft DP with Red Max----last April. It took 4 or 5 coats but that thing looks new. I will give it another coat in the spring. Awhile back it was posted on here that Red Max was no longer available at Lowes---any truth to that?????

I used Poliglow on a 1995 Holiday Rambler that was very bad looking. When I sold it 1 yr. later it still looked great. I like the prep solution that comes with Poliglow. It really cleans the fiberglass before application. That will determine how your MH looks using either process. Anything left on the MH before you start applying the sealer will show through. It is a time consuming (took about 12 hrs. to apply the sealer) on a 36 ft. MH. That is in addition to the prep time. 1 time a year will make your MH look great.

Clean it, bleach it , scrub it with something like Bar Keeps Friend to get rid of any and all dirt, mold, black streaks, et al. Get you some Red Max Pro or as I did just good old Mop-N-Glo and wipe on 4 - 5 coats and you will be amazed at how good your unit will look. It really easy to do as cmpared to waxing.

Ask that question at 5 different Lowes and get 5 different answers.
My experience is:
Purchased a gallon with 4 or 5 gallons on their shelf last May. I gave the remainder of the gallon away to a fellow RVer.
It became apparent that it became scarce so I started looking for another gallon. Every Lowes I searched no longer had the gallon size in stock but now carry it in a 5 gallon size.
I finally found the last gallon on the shelve in the last Lowes I searched in Albuquerque.
Zep is the actual manufacturer of it and I understand that you can buy it under the Zep lable at Home Depot in gallon sizes.

I heard they are reintroducing it back at Lowe's so I've been checking around down here in Arizona and have found it every Lowes I go to..

After winter I clean the motorhome with soft scrub, using a car brush. It will take all the black streaks off better than anything else I tried. After that I apply a good auto wax that you mix in water and again I use the auto brush which makes it easier than applying it by hand.

Why not purchase 5 gal? Does it spoil after storing awhile?

Because you only need perhaps a bit over a quart for a 36' MH. If you don't mind storing a 5 gallon container for years and years and years I guess it would be a good deal.

I bought 2 gal in the first place and the 4 or 5 coats I put on just about used up 1 gallon so I have a full gallon left---1 coat every spring should last 5 years or so.
