I have a 2011 Buick Enclave. While towing with 4 wheels down the milage runs up on the odometer. I have installed a charging line from the motor home to the battery on the vehicle so the battery will not run down. Does any one have any thoughts on this.

I think there is a fuse you have to pull.

We tow a 2010 Enclave. I pull the 50amp fuse, as stated in the owners manual, and the mileage does not accumulate on the odometer.

You need to follow your manual an pull the 50 amp fuse. I bought a taller fuse from autozone as the original fuse is difficult to remove. Pm me if you have questions.

Suggest that you go to your GM dealer and get the newly issued supplement on Dinghy Towing. It has been updated for the 2008-2012 Buick Enclave as well as other GM vehicles. You now have to pull two fuses in the specified order.
1- remove the 15 amp ECM fuse
2- remove the Batt 1 fuse

When reinstalling fuses, use the following order.

Install Batt 1 fuse first
Install 15 amp ECM fuse.

In the 2012 model year only, you have to remove three fuses.

But like I stated it's best to get bthe update from your GM Dealer
