The gas Bounder seems nice.

How does a buyer justify a $60,000 price increase for a diesel with only 240 HP and increased maintenance costs to own it?

This looks like a clear win for gas over diesel IMO.

Wasn't too impressed with a 228" wheelbase on a 37'7" coach, long overhang past drive axle good recipe for handling problem. With that length it should have at least a 242" wheelbase.
I have a 228 with a 37'. I thought it would be bad but it really isn't. I did put on a rear trac bar though.

Dan, the diesel is 340hp, the same engine as your Red.

the post i quoted (above) says 240 and allison 1000 transmission

The fleetwood site says 240 hp

I respect your comment and hope I am wrong, but that is not what I am reading right now.

Again I hope I am wrong and you are correct and these are misprints, but ....

Dan, I might be incorect on the hp as I can not find a reference to 340. The hp might only be 240.

The 6.7 ISB should have 300 hp on the low end. The old 5.9s had more hp than that. Torque should 700 to 800ft pounds. Unless they are de-rating it because of fuel?
