64 and 264 going into VA Beach. I thought the wheels would come off or at least jar every last screw loose. Concrete roads - unmaintained at that - are the worst.

US191 Morenci - Alpine. Good road but the sign says "Nothing over 40' in length." Also there is one very questionable tunnel with 11' of clearance.

I came around one turn and spotted tail lights and realized they were on the toad!

Much better than trying to fight I10 or I210 LA traffic over to Burbank and I5. A good portion of Pearblossom is four lane now.

I'd say Hwy 550, Million Dollar Hwy South out of Ouray, Colorado. No guard rails, 10 mph, white knuckle road
Then Hwy 22 West out of Jackson Hole Wyoming going into Idaho. A 10% grade up for 5 miles, then a 10% grade down for 5 miles
Last would be I-70 around the Eisenhower Tunnel..a extremely steep grade..many overheated engines and burned transmissions

I-80 between Reno and Sacramento. The road surface is so ruff with only two lanes in each direction, that you can feel the fillings loosen in your teeth.

U.S. 191 in Eastern Arizona, from Alpine down to Clifton. It is 90 miles of Hell. In fact it used to be SR666. We came down it in March. It had just been opened after a snow closure. There are no shoulders and no guard rails. You drop from 8500 feet at Alpine to 3400 feet at Clifton. You have the mountain on one side going straight up and the cliff drop off on the other side. It is paved but only 14' wide. There are no places to pull over or turn around.
When we reached the bottom a couple miles from Clifton we were stopped by a state trooper and asked if we passed a state highway truck with two men in it and we told them no, we had not seen any vehicles on the way down. It took us four hours to come down and the state truck had left to go up two hours before, but never reached the top. Never did find out what happened to the state truck.
