I've been looking at older (2000-2004) Class A DPs and wondering if certain makes/models have a taller interior ceiling height? At 6'4" tall, that's an important feature. Even looking at the manufacturer's literature for these older models isn't entirely helpful, as they often don't list that spec. Naturally, I can and will check out as many as possible, but it would be good to know if there are certain makes/models that I can scratch off my list.

Thanks!

I was chatting with a couple in a similar situation and he found that an Alfa had suitably tall ceilings.

The Alfa has about the highest ceiling that I know of. In fact short people have to use a step to reach some of the overhead cabinets.

Itasca Horizon/Winnebago Journey list interior height as 6' - 8". I haven't measured it, but it's way over my head!

The older Alpines have 6'7" height. The Beaver (04 Patriot Thunder) that a friend has is at least as high.

When buying my 03 HR I was told in 06 the ceilings were higher. I'm also 6'4 but moved up from a TT so had already adapted to low ceilings

Do a search here on Alfa before you buy. There are some serious delamination issues with some years. Not sure if it applies to all Alfa's or just some.

At 6' 4" too, I've turned around and walked out of many a RV because of a low ceiling. The lowest point in my MH is 6' 6" at the sliding door between the front and back. The ceiling is 6' 7 1/2" and around 06-07 Monaco added another 4" to the higher end DPs. I would stay away from Alfa's as they had lots of problems.

This post is my opinion (free advice). It is not intended to influence anyone's judgment nor do I advocate anyone do what I propose.

I'm 6'5" and own a 2004 Country Coach Inspire with a 7' ceiling. In 2004 only 2 manufacturers had 7' ceilings, Alpha and Country Coach. Since then 7' has become the ceiling standard.
