Just saw this...

Looks like a viable competitor to the much unloved Rand McNally RVND series (and less expensive too). Seems like it has built-in traffic as well.

Nice to have some options!

Odd that it says Good Sam Parks, only?
I have a Magellan 7" screen and find it very usefull in it's off the shelf configeration, they offer many add ons that you can buy.

No. It says "Good Sam Trailer Life RV Parks & Campground Directory". That directory includes many thousands of campgrounds, not just Good Sam parks.

If it is anything like the Magellen 9165T GPS that came out a few months ago, that was supposed to be RV specific, it is a waste of money. I tried everything with the 9165T on a 6500 mile trip and it is not for RV's at all. The only vehicles that you can put into the system start with a truck with one trailer and go to a Semi. There is nothing for a class A, B, or C RV or even a bus vehicle. You can enter your vehicles height, length, etc, but the unit will ignore what you entered. It took me down a road to an RV park in Alabama and I had to stop at a bridge with a 2 ton load limit. Had to disconnect the toad and back up a few miles to get out of there. The unit also had a problem with just shutting off or freezing while in use. Perhaps, Magellen will do the right thing and take the 9165T units in for a full trade-in value on the 9145 IF it is indeed RV specific. Save your money or take the gamble. My claimed "RV specific" Magellen 9165 is junk.
