I can now vouch for the Winegard Carryout dome antenna in combination with the Dish 211k Receiver. An external hard drive (EHD) can easily be added to provide the "pause" and "record" functions that most people value highly. These functions provide commercial avoidance and ability to watch programs/movies at any time the user desires. The Carryout antenna can be mounted on the RV ladder with an accessory mount, or on an accessory tripod anywhere within (approximately) 50 ft of the RV. Total cost of the Carryout with two accessory mounts
plus the 211k receiver with EHD would be in the vicinity of $1200.
If you and your wife want to watch different programs at the same time, or record a program while watching a different one, you will need something more than the Carryout/211k combo. In this case a triple LNB antenna on a moveable tripod would probably work best for you.
I think it is important to specify which receiver operates successfully with which antenna. I struggled for over a year with a Dish VIP 612 receiver and Carryout Antenna. Nothing but tedious frustration. It would have worked well with a triple LNB antenna, but had serious compatibility issues with the scanning Carryout.
