Both Hotel Mirador in Huatabampito & Chris in celestino say their business is way down this year. I am in Teacapan & it seems fairly full. I doubt the new vehicle deposit is helping.

In Mazatlan here the RV parks are maybe 1/3 to 1/2 full and over on Stone Island. It is about the same. The front row on the beach is pretty full but past them is not. Definatley do not need a reservation this year. The RV park out at Cerritos is probably the most full 75-80% but they are a lease(use it or loose it)and alot of people have put alot of money to make there sites very homie. It is all the same old timers that are still coming down, there are no new blood to replace the ones that just can't drive down anymore. Mazatlan is a great place to just chill for the winter, but it is sad to see so many empty RV spots.

Melaque- Laguna Del Tule is 90 per cent full and will be 100 by 15 Jan. La Playa is 11 of 14 sites full. The free beach is 60 per cent and the French Quarter is about 25 per cent.
Cadilac Ranch has about 8 rigs.

LDT is always popular. I have a reservation there. I had to go with the ocean side this year as somebody managed to book my normal spot on the lagoon side before I got there last year. I am hoping I can move over at some point during my 2 month stay, I find the salt spray a bit much on the other side and my wife is a bird watcher, so likes the lagoon. BTW are there any issues getting your rig through town thanks to Jova? I will arrive afternoon of Feb 3.

Isla Aguada has three rigs; us, a couple from France and a Mexican plated trailer which people from the DF visit once in a while.

Last week the Hotel Flamingo Inn in Queretaro had only one RV in the RV area. (us).

It is pretty sad that people are staying away for no reason. We have been in Mexico for seven weeks now and not one problem. Just friendly, helpful people.

On Stone Island at Tres Amigos 1 we have 8 RV's and at Tres Amigos 2 there are 16 RV's. There are at least 3 RV's not here for only this winter due to medical issues. Another four have not returned as 3 of them moved to other accomodation on the Isla and another couple bought a condo in Mazatlan.

The great news is that the road is expected to be paved for next season.

The La Peñita RV park is just about full. Drove by Delias in Guayabitos last night and it looked full.
