Well I read all though these posts just to find out what a Blue Boy is and so now I have to ask. What is a Blue Boy?

Thanks to google images I got it - and an idea:

That is actually a very cool idea. Would be very simple to weld that up.

I bought a cheap chair/bike rack from camping world for $15 made specifically for the ladder. I stick my blue boy on that and strap it down and it stays that way stored almost all year. never had an issue. I dont care what it looks like its all about functionality for me. I dont want to take up precious space in my truck bed for a toilet that might not be used that trip.

I travel with mine in the bed of my truck between the hitch and the tailgate. It sits sideways an fits fine and is low enough to fit height wise also. Obviously I load it after I have hooked up the 5'er. I do put a tie down across it from side to side using the tie down anchors in my truck bed just to make sure the wind doesn't lift it. It fits perfectly in this spot. I have a 27 gallon Smart Tote.

+1 We have a 32 and it fits nicely between the hitch and the tailgate.

A 'Blue Boy' is a rolling plastic sealed cart with a handle and integrated hitch loop that some folks use to unload their trailers black tank into, instead of using the sewer hookup or getting it pumped out by the campground.

Correct; normally a Barker or a Thetford, though I believe there are other brands.

I've owned several RV's over the years and always carried a blue tote, but made sure I found a place to store it, like under the coach between the frame. I've fabricated several setups for others so they could HIDE theirs.

Whenever I see one on the back of an RV, I nudge my wife and say.....there's Sanford and Son. Sorry....I'm also big on having NOTHING hanging off of my rig. I guess its just pride of ownership.
