Pretty good company, large with a fine claims staff, you shouldn't have a problem with Farmer's in loss situation.

Never had an insurance claim of any kind but have been with Farmers for a little over a year and no complaints. They were by far the least expensive for the coverage I need. Nice to have a local agent I can call with questions.

Does Farmers Insurance have a good RV plan. I am going to check into it when I get down to their office. My 12 year old MH is way above average and am worried on a total what my settlement would be based on some lower amount.

This claims adjuster of 35+ years says: the insurance company name is not all that important. Any insurance policy is a contract between insured and insurer. Most policies provide the same types of coverage differing in endorsements and coverage's. Policies are approved by states and unless an insurer has a "manuscript policy" they are all the same.

The differences are in Customer Service and individual company business practices. Advertising tries to make it all look different but then is there truth in advertising, not really. A good Independent Insurance Agent should be able to further explain this and also shop for the most competitive pricing. Example: I was insured by a big named company and reduced my coverage to minimum limits of liability only because of a disability and my financial condition at the time. When health and finances improved, I was able to return to a full coverage policy with higher limits of liability coverage. I changed to a lesser known company with a Fortune 500 Company and my premium actually went down. I felt ripped off by the good hands.
