Just when we might think there were no more caravans down here, we had a group of 19 rigs arrive here in Paamul a couple of days ago. Mostly large Class A rigs, all from parts of the US, as far as I could see.
Have a good trip, please.

I expect that they left Paamul today or tomorrow. I've followed their blog.

They had some accident problems along the way.

Just had a conversation with two of the caravaners currently in Paa Mul. They had a couple of bandito experiences near the border but without any serious consequences or harm. Someone in the group gave the banditos 2000 pesos - $160 - and that was about it. Stories will vary I'm sure.

It's nice to see a caravan here again. Down the road in Xpu Ha both La Playa RV Park and the old Samuel's are full. Everyone I've spoken to is loving being here and several are getting interested in spending extended time. I think you can only put your dreams on hold for so long. Life is short.

This is our eighth year in Paa Mul. Hard to believe. We love it as much now as when we first found it. That's true for just about everyone here I think. Life in Mexico is sweet....with an occasional tope.

We're expecting a caravan of 7 Class A's tomorrow at Western Horizons Kino Bay, escorted from Nogales by the Fairweathers. Starting to look like an RV park finally.
