Most all my KOA experiences have been positive, however, they do operate in a system of "free enterprise" soooo CAVEAT EMPTOR.

"KOA" "RESORT"? Oxymoron. Just another way to gouge.
I think sometimes we forget that the freedoms we have are freedoms not because of celebrities. The freedoms are because of ordinary people who did extraordinary things, who loved this country more than life itself.

Same experience several times...Most KOA's are franchised and KOA home office has no "real" control over the local owner. I only stay at KOA as a last resort. I guess some are used to being squeezed like sardines and treated this way...not me.

Already expensive, so what's $5.00 more? Hard to agree with that statement. It would all be so much easier if they would just set the price and not mention the additional charges, that is what usually gets people upset. We don't want to pay for the playground or dog walk, that should be part of what sets the RV site rates. Keep it simple.

The nick name for KOA... KEEP ON ADDING.
Camping 40/night, Water 10.00, Electric 30 amp 15, 50 amp 25, Sewer 10 bucks, "Resort Fee" 5.00, Wi-Fi 10.00, Total 90/night. Unless you have other excuse for them to keep on adding.
That's how they do it.
Thousand Trails ZONE pass. Use any of 25 parks (or more) for up to 30 days in one year included, 30 amp, water and sewer, 500 50 amp 4.00/night more, over 30 days a few dollars a night more. PM if interested.
Nothin adds excitment like something that is none of your business

Another way of looking at the KOA policy and pricing is it keeps out the riff-raff
