We have the Combo, as with everything pros and cons with both. Stack takes more room, but can wash and dry at the same time 2 different loads. Combo lets you throw the load in and forget it until its done, We run ours mostly at bed time, Do not need to get up to switch the clothing.

If I had to do it over again, I'd go for the stacked. And, yes, it is well worth it having a W/D in your RV.

We have the stacked and I much prefer that. It allows you to do more laundry as you can put a load in while another is drying. When the grandkids travel with us that really helps!

Also, a combo is rated for 15# wash and 11# dry. A stack can do 15# was and 13# dry.

We have the XC combo vented and very happy with it. We wanted the extra space and our combo does a great job. I like being able to start a load before we leave and come back and it is done. We have had no drying issues with ours and are very happy. If and only if I was full timing would I personally go for a stackable. Everyone is going to have their personal opinion on this subject.
My decision points were. Almost half the price of a stackable, less extra weight, we are not full time, and we wanted the extra space. In the space where the stackable dryer would have gone, we added two extra shelves for towels and such and have a clothes basket for dirty clothes. Works great for us.
Good luck in your decision.

Just for the record.A Splenedide XC vented is NOT 1/2 the price of a stacked set.U can buy a stacking whirlpool for the same price as a XC spendide

I've had both and I guess it depends on how much laundry you plan to do. If you don't have much, or want to do it very, very often, the combo is okay. It doesn't dry as quickly or as well as a regular dryer. We do a lot of laundry (we often camp with our kids and grandkids and they use our laundry facilities) so the stack units are much better for us. I would not get another coach with a combo unit.
